Bullying
News coverage, legal investigations, scholarly research, and public discussion following the Heath shooting–and many other school shootings–questioned the role of bullying in shaping the shooter’s motivations. Most of the sources agree that Michael Carneal had been bullied, but they vary in their assessments of the extent of the bullying and its significance.
